Fruity Power Smoothie Bodybuilding Recipe

With busy schedules, getting the family out the door in the mornings doesn't leave much time for a balanced breakfast—adequate in protein.

Start your day right! An easy-to-prepare, protein-filled, fruit flavored smoothie will assure bananced blood sugar levels and eliminate the haunting cravings usually associated with a high-carb breakfast.

Start your family's day healthy with this quick and convenient recipe:


1 cup cold water
1 cup frozen mixed berries, unsweetened
Protein powder (low carb) 1-2 scoops-appropriate for your protein requirement
¼ cup cottage cheese
3-4 ice cubes
1 packet Splenda or Stevia, if desired

Place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and creamy.


In place of water, may use:
Coconut milk, omit light cream
Diet beverages
Teas, herbal or regular
Diet drinks/pop
Carbonated water flavored with oil essences
