Bodybuilding Egg Recipes
Since bodybuilding first started the egg has been on the top of the list as the best and most compatible protein for a bodybuilder. However one can get a bit bored of hard boiled eggs and there are countless ways that one can spice up the way that you prepare eggs if you are a bodybuilder wanting to add muscle.
Besides the bad press that the cholesterol in eggs has got over the years there are many other ingredients that an egg contains which will help you gain muscle. They include Tryptophan, Selenium, Iodine, Vitamin B2, Phosphorus, Vitamin D and many other micronutrients that are vitally important when adding muscle to your body.
The first unusual egg recipe is something called Egg Drop Soup which can be easily made by simply adding 2 to 3 cups of chicken or beef with a few added vegetables like broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and even bean sprouts to make up a tasty broth.
When the soup or broth is finished you can then drop in an egg or two and continue to stir the broth. If you want to increase the amount of protein without fat one could also simply add egg whites. When the eggs start to whiten you then can cool it off and serve.
The last egg recipe idea here is something that will easily double your protein requirement and your essential fatty acids by using both salmon and eggs. You would start the process by heating half a teaspoon of olive oil in a pan adding a tablespoon of chopped red onion plus a tablespoon of green onion.
You then add two egg whites and when this mixture is cooked through you then remove it and cut an English Muffin in half and put in a toaster. On one half of the English Muffin you would put some Dijon mustard and with a slice of tomato and an ounce of smoked salmon.
On the other half of the muffin you would put the mixture that you have just prepared and put them together. You would have now created a very tasty egg recipe that will give you more than enough high quality protein as well as all the essential fats that you will need to increase your testosterone levels.
